Wisdom on the Way – Understanding the Revelations of Julian of Norwich in the 21st Century

Hope is much-needed in our current times. Sr Pamela of All Hallows Convent was able to bring a little of that to Contemplative Fire Companions and guests gathered for Wisdom on The Way on March 11th at Boxmoor Trust.
Even those who knew something of the incredible person who was Julian of Norwich – the first woman to write a book in the English language – made fresh discoveries of her history in person and in her writing…
The Hub – Thoughts After a Meeting – Ann Worrall
The Contemplative Fire Hub met up for its
second meeting on Friday 27th January at
Boxmoor Trust (near Hemel again), on a bitter
cold day. Several of us had had very long
journeys (Wales, Sheffield, Nottingham, Bishops
Stortford) and had stayed overnight to break
the journey. A couple of us were unable to
come and we missed them. It was really a
pleasure to meet up with Companions working
to steer a direction forward for our communitywide
group in a way that is consensual,
grounded and creative. I am particularly
interested in how we find a way of interacting
in the group so that all of us are able to explore
different open shared models of leadership…

Ann Worrall writes: Our newly formed Hub gathered for the first time at Boxmoor Trust, just outside Hemel Hempstead, on Saturday 22nd October. Sally Wright and Tom Hinds came from Windsor, Gill Greenwood from Sheffield, Liz Okey and Ann Worrall from Chesham, Sharon Roberts from Amersham, Caroline Newton from near Nottingham, Helen Fitch-Hunter from Bishops Stortford and Charlotte Wright from Berkhamsted.
