“Posts” are made up of at least a title and your text. You must fill out both the title and text box when you add a new Post.
When you have finished typing your title and text, you can publish your new Post by clicking “Add this new post” at the bottom of the page.
You can optionally add Images and File Attachments. Click the “Add images” and “Add file attachments” buttons to do this. These buttons will allow you to choose an image from the Media Library, or upload files from your computer.
Any images you add will be shown above your text as a pop-up slideshow.
If you need to delete any images from your Post, when you’re adding or Editing the post, use the delete button to the top left of the images. It looks like this:
Any file attachments you add will be listed below your text. When other members of the community click on your file attachments, they may find they can view your attachment online, or it may start the file downloading to their computer. This depends on the software they have on their computer, and is not something we can control.
The best format for file attachments is PDF, as these can be viewed on most mobile phones and tablets.
You can log in to our private Online Community from any page of our website. Click the “Log in” link above the main menu to get started.
When you are logged in, the Community page in the main menu (the page you’re on now) will show you the posts made by other Companions. Newest posts are shown first. You can add your own post by clicking “New post”.
Click on the title of a post to read it in full. When reading a post in full, you’ll be able to add your comments, reply to other commenters, and subscribe to receive email notifications of any new comments on that post.
Posts you make here are private, and can only be seen by other community members. Even so, as future community members will be able to read your past posts, you should avoid posting anything here if you would not be happy for it to be public knowledge.
To log out, click “Log out” above the main menu.
To change your personal details, including your email address or password, click “Edit my account” above the main menu. We ask that you keep you real first and second names in your account. But if you’d prefer to use a nickname within our Online Community, then you can choose your own nickname, and set this as the name to be shown “publicly” (which in this private space means, “to other Companions”).
