SUMMARY:Silent Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Silent Retreat led by Jeremy Timm \nMonday 10th – Thursday 13th November 2025 \nat Parcevall Hall\, Skipton\, North Yorkshire. \nJOURNEY INTO SILENCE \nAs a community we endeavour to follow a rhythm of life based upon the triquetra\, the Celtic trefoil\, one leaf of which represents Still Waters\, our commitment to contemplative prayer. This is both an individual invitation and a communal one; our shared time on this retreat\, Journey into Silence\, is an exploration and experience of Divine Presence in community\, as a group. \nAfter gathering and sharing supper on our first evening we will step into “Noble Silence” as a group and begin our journey. \nWe will have three sits a day comprising of two 25-minute silences\, separated by movement through tai chi\, body prayer and slow meditation walks. \nThe sits will be introduced and resourced by me through drumming\, music\, storytelling and poetry. \nEach retreatant will have their own room to spend time in resting\, reading or journaling. \nOur time together in Silence may be a personal challenge\, but as we open ourselves to Divine Presence our journey will be an enriching and transformative experience. \nCost \nFor those who have not done a Silent retreat before and would like to come along there is a subsidised cost for the retreat of £150 per person. \nAnd for those who have participated in Silent Retreats before the subsidised cost is £200 per person. \nIf you require a bursary / further reduction in cost to join the Retreat  or for costs toward public transport– please let us know on the online booking form\, which we will make available here as soon as we can. Watch this space! \nAccommodation \nPlease note all the available rooms have  a washbasin and  shared facilities\, with one room adapted for those with mobility issues. \nParcevall Hall gardens
